Re: "CHRISTMAS THROUGH THE EYES OF A CHILD" CONTEST

(...) Does Jesus have that kind of money? Just the other day I tried to hit him up for the ten bucks he still owes me and he was all like "Look, man, I'll pay you later." (...) Isn't using glue just a gateway drug? Last time I saw Henry Lim he was (...) (21 years ago, 29-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.contests, FTX)

This is very exciting! This is a wonderful contest put on by very good people. I would encourage everyone of Faith or not ,to consider entering this contest and create your version of "Christmas through the eyes of a Child". As I said these are good (...)   AAV-20 Resurrected!

Hi Folks- I've found a new home for a web site with info about MOC's, mainly the AAV-20. It was originally posted some years ago, but I've dusted it off, made some updates and provided links to MOCpages.com. This is the main page: (URL) there's too (...)   Re: Military MOC: Wheeled APC/Recon Vehicle

Ian, where have you been my man? The APC is really cool, the topside guns, the small, low profile windows....also liked the side doors and the general use of slopes. It reminds me of something I built a long time ago (no accusation of copying, just (...) (21 years ago, 29-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: Military MOC: Wheeled APC/Recon Vehicle

(...) Ian- This is a very good vehicle. I like the use of SNOT for the sides, the HMG, and the use of the Technic control rod for an antenna. I wouldn't worry too much about the interior details. If it's an APC, the crew compartment probably (...) (21 years ago, 29-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: "CHRISTMAS THROUGH THE EYES OF A CHILD" CONTEST

(...) But what about for Jesus AND $5,250? (As for the glue debate, whilst I myself am averse to glue, don't forget that some of the gods in the LEGO-building pantheon use it, particularly for commercial reasons; Eric Harshbarger, Henry Lim, and, (...) (...) Ooh! I've always wanted to do a LEGO version of (URL) Vendetta: A Christmas Story.> But I don't think I'd ever glue my LEGOs, not even for Jesus. -The Rev. Brendan Powell Smith (21 years ago, 28-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.contests, FTX)

Re: "CHRISTMAS THROUGH THE EYES OF A CHILD" CONTEST

Hi Tim! (...) In the first place I'm not invited to enter this contest, so why should I give a positive comment? Secondly glueing LEGO is a sacrilege in any case. And I cannot be bought by any sum :-) Bye Jojo (URL) (21 years ago, 28-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.contests, FTX)

Re: "CHRISTMAS THROUGH THE EYES OF A CHILD" CONTEST

(...) But that's only if you're one of the twelve semi-finalists, and at that point you're already assured of winning at least $250. Initially you only have to submit a photo.   Re: "CHRISTMAS THROUGH THE EYES OF A CHILD" CONTEST

Hello! (...) Luckily this contest is meant for U.S. people only. So I don't even get tempted to participate and eventually be forced to glue some LEGO. Sometimes I'm glad that I'm not a citizen of God's own country. Bye Jojo (URL) (21 years ago, 28-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.contests, FTX)
