I just finished up the work on my Puma page: (URL) uses pieces from the Adventurer sets 5956-Expedition Balloon and 5958-Mummy's Tomb. I kind of wish it had doors (or even treads) but I still think it turned out okay. ..joseph g (25 years ago, 18-Nov-99, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.build)

(...) Well I just went back to the 2000 catalog to have a look. If you look on this page I actually see Yellow, Red, Black, and White click hinges all on this one page. Occasionally they do seem too tight and will separate from the model like they do in some of the official LEGO models but when secured tightly like they are on the SnowSpeeder wings and the (...) Quick, go add some stuff to your page about how Lego won't sell bulk bricks and how all the slashdot readers should call Lego up and tell them about how cool large creations are BUT Lego makes it hard for the large creation creators... That is one, cool model, Eric. Those click-hinges look like they work real well for that type of thing, it makes it very posable as you mentioned. The number of different ways the legs could be positioned would make for numerous positions the walker (...)
