  BioniWars: Darth Vatoa

Standing a full stud above average, he's the Dark Toa of the Sith. Well, actually, through an odd fluke of design, the BatToa Droid actually stands a little bit taller, but he is actually taller than any of the Imperial Toapers. He borrows parts, (...)   Re: Maximum Wheels + Robobots = Transformer!

(...) Hi Bas, Glad you liked it!!! I spent a lot of time in my youth playing with Transformers (though not as much as with LEGO) and I guess a little of the Transformers "feel" is buried in my brain somewhere. Thanks for the comments!   Re: Maximum Wheels + Robobots = Transformer!

Hi Andrew, (...) Thanks for the kind words. I'm glad you like it. I remember you mentioned you were interested in transformers at the last GardenSLUG meeting. (...) I think it would be awesome if a bunch of folks (in our club and/or beyond) all came (...) (21 years ago, 20-May-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.general)

Re: Maximum Wheels + Robobots = Transformer!

(...) Hi Eric, It is fun to transform it back and forth. Thanks for checking it out. I was thinking this would be right in line for the Road Show stuff. My goal was to prove to myself it could work and I didn't spend too much time on the aesthetics (...) (21 years ago, 20-May-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Terran Walker Tripod

(...) Geez, Sylvi, how did I ever miss this! This MOC is awesome! Getting ships, walkers, and other things into a tripod shape is difficult (at least for me), and you pulled it off very well! Love that canopy and the colors rock! The pilot of the (...) (21 years ago, 20-May-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

Re: Help building a lego Cat D7

I have some pictures of the D7 both still and in action in my MSN group about bulldozers. ((URL) picture on the first model I tried to build is in my brickshelf gallery. ((URL) (Folder name is CatD7) I have not taken any pictures of the second one (...) (21 years ago, 19-May-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.technic, lugnet.modelteam)

Re: Maximum Wheels + Robobots = Transformer!

Sheer beauty... That's my comment. Transforming things rule! Besides that, you captured the Transformer "feeling" well. I like the robusteness of the car mode, and (unlike many transformers) the elegance of the robot. It somehow seems finished, (...) (21 years ago, 19-May-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.general)

Re: The Jamocklaquat - Picture of the Day

(...) Neat you gave him the remote so he can control himself :) Yo da man! Best regards, /Tobbe (URL) SPAM when e-mailing) (21 years ago, 19-May-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: LEGO Koinobori

(...) A stunning use of xtra 1x2 bricks! The complex repeated pattern is very pleasing and those fins are a great bonus! I wish I could make something half as interesting with the overabundant parts in my collection. (21 years ago, 19-May-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture)

  Re: LEGO Koinobori

(...) Wow the 'pixilation' of color seems to have been done perfectly! Jeff (21 years ago, 19-May-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture)
