  Re: LEGO Mosaic: a&a logo

(...) I congratulate you! Normally I find mosaics pretty uninteresting, but you've found yet another way to vary the formula. Very sweet. (21 years ago, 20-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.mosaic)

  Re: LEGO Mosaic: a&a logo

I'd love to see photographic closeups of the parts that aren't so obviously easily done with unmodified Lego parts. The center portion of the big "E" which starts the & character attract my immediate attention. The odd angles up the tail slopes of (...) (21 years ago, 20-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.mosaic)

  LEGO Mosaic: a&a logo

Hi all, I just finished another mosaic. Most interesting about this one was the necessity of arches to create nice, rounded letters: (URL) harshbarger (21 years ago, 20-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.mosaic, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.general)

  Re: UMC Hospital

(...) John- I've actually been to the UMC in Tuscon, it was one of the first interviews, and definetly played a part in the inspiration for this hospital. We also got a chance to see the biosphere while we were there. Very cool, and I've had it on (...) (21 years ago, 19-Apr-03, to lugnet.build)

  Re: UMC Hospital

(...) I see. The reason I asked is because it instantly reminded me of a UMC in Tucson, AZ; a place where I worked for a period of time in the 80's. I actually thought that that was the one upon which you based your MOC. You have actually captured (...) (21 years ago, 19-Apr-03, to lugnet.build)

  Re: UMC Hospital

(...) Thanks John... this UMC is an amalgam of bland municpal building designs circa 1970's. My wife works at a UMC here in Fresno, but when we traveled 11 states last year for her interviews, every major city seemed to have a UMC, so why not (...) (21 years ago, 19-Apr-03, to lugnet.build)
