I'd love to see photographic closeups of the parts that aren't so obviously easily done with unmodified Lego parts. The center portion of the big "E" which starts the & character attract my immediate attention. The odd angles up the tail slopes of (...) (21 years ago, 20-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.mosaic)

Hi all, I just finished another mosaic. Most interesting about this one was the necessity of arches to create nice, rounded letters: (URL) harshbarger (21 years ago, 20-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.mosaic, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.general)

(...) John- I've actually been to the UMC in Tuscon, it was one of the first interviews, and definetly played a part in the inspiration for this hospital. We also got a chance to see the biosphere while we were there. Very cool, and I've had it on (...) (21 years ago, 19-Apr-03, to lugnet.build)

(...) Thanks John... this UMC is an amalgam of bland municpal building designs circa 1970's. My wife works at a UMC here in Fresno, but when we traveled 11 states last year for her interviews, every major city seemed to have a UMC, so why not (...) (21 years ago, 19-Apr-03, to lugnet.build)
