MOC: German WWII halftrack and armoured car

Hi all Happy new Lego year to you. I have opened 2003 with some new models of German WWII vehicles. The half-track SdKfz 251 and the armoured car SdKfz 222. I have been experimenting a little with different colours. Nowadays most parts are available (...) (22 years ago, 8-Jan-03, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.loc.se) !!

  Re: PA003 Power Armor

(...) Holy (very bad word)! Someone actually saw that!?!? Yeah, I'll have more stuff up as soon as I get my camera program fixed. No instructions yet, 'cause I own a Mac and can't use lDraw. (22 years ago, 8-Jan-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: New Mecha (finally...)

Wow you are good. When I first looked at it I couldn't tell it was made from lego's until I enlarged the pic. (URL) (22 years ago, 8-Jan-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: It's perfect!

(...) Bad form, but I'm replying to my own message - 'cause I forgot to tie it into Star Wars. I did a quick study a couple of years ago on the AT-ST. If you check out the pictures from the movie, you can see that the AT-ST does indeed have a knee (...) (22 years ago, 8-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: This is Where I Build (my workspace)

(...) That's the same dining room set we have... Apple Furniture, right? Linda chairs, and 30"x48" table? --Bill. (22 years ago, 7-Jan-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

Re: This is Where I Build (Quasi Roll Call)

(...) Kitchen table (about 30" x 48" rectangular) and five IRIS 7-drawer carts. (...) Not much. (I live in a 550 sq ft house, after all, and there's more in it than Lego.) (...) All of them. (I haven't counted.) (...) Not having to crawl on floor. (...) (22 years ago, 7-Jan-03, to lugnet.build)

Re: it's a Lego Jeep thing

(...) Very cool! I especially love the jerry can in the back. Bring it to brickswest! :-) --Bill. PS: For those who may be wondering, YJ is the official designation of the Jeep Wrangler, and in Canada they are sold under the YJ label instead of (...) (22 years ago, 7-Jan-03, to lugnet.build)

Re: How many brick separators do you need if a brick separator could split bricks?

(...) Yes, I do this all the time. One thing I've found though, is that using brick wrenches (what I call brick separators) can damage pieces when used on the underside. So to reduce the likelihood, I apply the brick wrench near the edge of the (...) (22 years ago, 7-Jan-03, to lugnet.build)

  Re: It's perfect!

(...) Weeelllll, technically, that's not right. All mammals have knees that bend in the same basic direction - as long as you have a consistent definition for a knee. In most mammals, though, the thigh bone is much shorter and compacted into the (...) (22 years ago, 8-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build.mecha)
