Re: This is Where I Build (Quasi Roll Call)

(...) Kitchen table (about 30" x 48" rectangular) and five IRIS 7-drawer carts. (...) Not much. (I live in a 550 sq ft house, after all, and there's more in it than Lego.) (...) All of them. (I haven't counted.) (...) Not having to crawl on floor. (...) (22 years ago, 7-Jan-03, to lugnet.build)

Re: it's a Lego Jeep thing

(...) Very cool! I especially love the jerry can in the back. Bring it to brickswest! :-) --Bill. PS: For those who may be wondering, YJ is the official designation of the Jeep Wrangler, and in Canada they are sold under the YJ label instead of (...) (22 years ago, 7-Jan-03, to lugnet.build)

Re: How many brick separators do you need if a brick separator could split bricks?

(...) Yes, I do this all the time. One thing I've found though, is that using brick wrenches (what I call brick separators) can damage pieces when used on the underside. So to reduce the likelihood, I apply the brick wrench near the edge of the (...) (22 years ago, 7-Jan-03, to lugnet.build)

  Re: It's perfect!

(...) Weeelllll, technically, that's not right. All mammals have knees that bend in the same basic direction - as long as you have a consistent definition for a knee. In most mammals, though, the thigh bone is much shorter and compacted into the (...) (22 years ago, 8-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: It's perfect!

as a matter of fact, all mammals have similar bone stuctures. if you compare a dog's leg and a human leg, you see that they both have knees, heels, and toes. the knee on a dog, like a human, bends forward. however, it looks like it bends backward.   Re: It's perfect!

(...) What???? I think there is something wrong with your dog. ;) Dogs knees face forward in the back. Do you mean the front legs? My two cents, Mark M. (22 years ago, 8-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Fly-Bot

Dude, WOW! I dig the cockpit in the head, particuarily with the mandible bits. Nice touch. Good use for those insect legs. (go fig, as insect legs...) What's up with the different scale people? Are the giants enslaving minifig midgets, or does the (...) (22 years ago, 8-Jan-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: It's perfect!

(...) I haven't seen the special edition, shame on me!!!!!!, but in the Star Wars vehicles book, th AT-AT carries about six speeder-bikes in the very back. oz. (22 years ago, 8-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Abston Church of Christ

I just have to say wow. The shear amount of time and energy that must have gone into this is absolutley amazing, not to mention monetary funds. As for criticism, i spent three weeks building a virtual soccer stadium, and all i can do is look at it (...) (22 years ago, 7-Jan-03, to lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: It's perfect!

(...) I can't remember exactly, but were some speeder bikes added in the Special Edition? As for the new figures, the driver just looks like a Stormtrooper torso and helmet with light grey arms and legs - I converted my two Tie-Fighter Stormtroopers (...)
