Re: Halloween Lego Design Contest Reminder and Update

I'm crossposting this to lugnet.publish. It seems to be related to case sensitivity in the URL's. From work I have trouble, but not from home. Both are IE 4.0, but Work is "Version 4.72.3110.8" while home is "Version 4.72.3110". I don't see any (...) (25 years ago, 6-Oct-99, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general, lugnet.publish)

Re: Parts Used in "LEGO Man"?

From the page I see the body as 1st layer above the legs: 2x4 & 1X2, next two layers are 2X3 & 2X2. Hat is a 1X3 & 2X3. Lego is not a toy, it's a way of life.   Parts Used in "LEGO Man"?

(URL) feet are 2x3, legs are 2x2. What is the body made of? It looks like it should be 2x5, but according to (URL) is no 2x5. His head is 2x3, but what is the hat made of? 3x3? Can anyone point me to a clearer (and/or brighter) scan of "LEGO Man"? (...) (25 years ago, 5-Oct-99, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

Re: The beginings of my modular Star Wars base.

James, Thanks, I never saw those before. I usually look at the pages, 26 in the current catalog, but I never buy bricks like that, I always bought the buckets or whatever.   Re: The beginings of my modular Star Wars base.

(...) Yup. 5145 Grey Bricks Pack, 68 pieces, $7.25 (Canadian). I've got a couple. (hundred) :) To be more precise, they have these in the US/Canada service line, but apparantly not in the European. I'm not certain about the other markets, but (...) (25 years ago, 5-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

Re: The beginings of my modular Star Wars base.

(...) Yeah, actually, they've had 'em for a while! (in the US at any rate) According to the DB, there's a gray brick service pack that dates back to 1986 (or earlier!) DaveE (25 years ago, 5-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

Re: The beginings of my modular Star Wars base.

Eric, What a great job. I love the realism (I.E. Steps, and so forth.) I am building several more realistic models of my own, your a great inspiration! Good luck, it looks great so far. Scott S. P.S. They have gray service packs now? (25 years ago, 5-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

The beginings of my modular Star Wars base.

Here is a link to some pictures I have taken of the initial stages of the construction of what I plan on being a large modular layout of a Star Wars Rebel Base. Much of my Ideas are still fermenting in my head but I plan on this base houseing a (...) (25 years ago, 5-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build, lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos)

I've had no trouble viewing it with IE4.0, but I've changed it quickly just now. If it's still off it'll have to wait until after work. Brian (...) (25 years ago, 5-Oct-99, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general)
