Re: The Ten Commandments, The Golden Calf, and The Ark of the Covenant

(...) I am getting these problems too... something must have changed because I am seeing that others hvae seen them, presumably, based on their comments (unless the images came to them in a vision!) (22 years ago, 20-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.ancient)

Re: The Ten Commandments, The Golden Calf, and The Ark of the Covenant

(...) The ark! Wow, great ark! Cool ark! Wow. Etc. Where did you get those flying creatures? Some castle set I assume. (22 years ago, 19-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.ancient)

Re: The Ten Commandments, The Golden Calf, and The Ark of the Covenant

(...) A couple of bugs... On (URL) image doesn't work. Also the "Next" button at the top of (URL) to the same page; the one at the bottom of the page is fine. --Bill. (22 years ago, 19-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.ancient)

Re: The Ten Commandments, The Golden Calf, and The Ark of the Covenant

(...) Wow ... some great stuff here. I particularly love the cloud (and lightning) and the golden calf. The maxifig hands for ears was a brilliant stroke. And the tablets too. Great stuff. Only thing is, and I've noticed this before, is that's a (...) (22 years ago, 19-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.ancient)

Re: The Ten Commandments, The Golden Calf, and The Ark of the Covenant

Rev. Smith, First things first: errors, in the Golden Calf story you misspelled Yahweh or Moses saying "Intetntions." Also the last picture or 2nd to last doesn't come up. the story Yahweh relents comes up as a broken link. Wow! this stuff is going (...) (22 years ago, 19-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.ancient)

  Re: Mechastruct entry, Dragonwolf

Thank you sir, thank you. I was sort of shooting for a mech/velociraptor sort of theme. I actually built three heads before satisfied for this beast. The first one just wouldn't hold itself together, the second is neat looking but a little too (...) (22 years ago, 19-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Starscream, Prime and Megatron Preview

No chance of doing it in the right colors there aren't even enough parts made in those colors to build it. I will probably do it in Yellow and black (or maybe blue), and if I get ambitious I would render it in cad using the right colors (neon green (...) (22 years ago, 19-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Starscream, Prime and Megatron Preview

(...) I'm curious I was planning on doing devastator as my first transformer, I picked up the cheap $10 knock-off on ebay to use as a model. BTW, if you want one of those chinese rip-offs for a collection, DONT the quality is absolute crap. But I (...) (22 years ago, 19-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Mechastruct Entry: Mighty Mech

What really frightens me about this mech, is the head. I dunno, possibly it's the lack of mouth. It's so un-Sophie-ish... Right... Very cool. The rest of the mech is quite nicely built as well, Eric. I gotta ask though, how stable is the mecha? I'm (...) (22 years ago, 19-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Mechastruct entry, Dragonwolf

Woah, when I first saw this my jaw dropped. I just love how you give your mechs so much personality, Mark. This one for some reason looks especially nasty and cruel. Also, the guns... 'all' the guns, are just fab, no doubt about that. I also like (...) (22 years ago, 19-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Contact-Me 2003

Great shot Eric, just one thing, AOL??? I mean, AOL???? The mechs are awesome, but A.O.L? You're not selling out I hope. Of course, I suppose a mech that automatically installed AOL on any computer it got near would be the most fearsome mech in the (...)   Re: Mechastruct entry, Dragonwolf

(...) I've played MW (1980s?) MW2, MW3, MW4, and MW5. (Microsoft product testing, sorry can't say anymore) I'm a big fan of the PC MW line. I'm also somewhat familliar with the Battletech board game. It's been years since I played it. I have not (...) (22 years ago, 19-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Mechastruct entry, Dragonwolf

(...) Sorry to bring this off-topic ;) Have you played any of the mechwarrior PC games or Battletech board games? Although they do move a bit slower than the mechassault mechs, theres much more realism in the PC mechs (IM0) Plus there is a LOT more (...) (22 years ago, 19-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Mechastruct entry, Dragonwolf

(...) Yep, actually it stands very well. Very solid. Even when tipped way forward or backwards. Or swinging actually. My biggest problem is getting the tail to stay together when I whack it against something, which is almost everytime I move the (...) (22 years ago, 19-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Mechs! (was:Re: Feedback thoughts?)

(...) I had noted that earlier - like I said, I may not be a fan of mecha but I won't avoid them! :-) (...) I see. I cannot grasp *why* anyone ever thought the human form was suited for combat, but I get what the idea is. (...) Two questions arise, (...) (22 years ago, 18-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
