Re: Lame Parts Entry - Wibble Asteroid Sailer

Hey Michael, The football pieces are about 10 cents on bricklink. You could make six wibbles and use the six for all your pictures. You could make an entire lame wibble asteroid belt. Maybe this could be the start of a new newsgroup, off of .space (...) (22 years ago, 1-Dec-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

Lame Parts Entry - Wibble Asteroid Sailer

Here is my (lame) entry for the Lame parts contest. I'm building another, much better one, which should be done soon, but for now... The Wibble are a peculiar race that evolved in an asteroid belt. Intrepid Wibble explorers move around using craft (...) (22 years ago, 1-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

  Re: Oil Lamp - MOC

(...) Thanks for the kind words. I like this size and type of sculpture as well because it's easy for non-LEGO fans to relate to. I enjoy the challenges of making curved surfaces, and in this case I'm also happy with the use of slopes to enhance the (...) (22 years ago, 30-Nov-02, to lugnet.build.sculpture)

  Re: Mechastruct Entry: AMX-21 'Sandstorm'

(...) You got another thing coming ;) Yup, I did another one. Don't worry, I'll stop soon. This one is a new MECHA, not 'just' a mech. It'll be out tomorrow. Oh, and let me second the call for more entries. I feel bad being the only one with (...) (22 years ago, 30-Nov-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Lame Parts III - The website

Good website, Allister! Simple and functional. I like it. Just one problem, all the links work. Shouldn't there be a lame link or two that is broken? :) Just kidding, good job. Josh (...) (22 years ago, 29-Nov-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

Lame Parts III - The website

Well, I've finally finished the official competition website. It's fairly rudimentary (I'm no programmer), but it should do the job. Check it out at (URL) me know if there are any errors, omissions or if you have any suggestions on making the comp (...) (22 years ago, 29-Nov-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

  Re: My Favorite Moc's

Those are some great and inspirational MOC's, I have so many personal favorites floating around in my head it makes it difficult to pick and choose. Suffice to say that's why I'm glad there is a Mecha Hall of Fame and the Ship Yard to embody the (...) (22 years ago, 29-Nov-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Two Thanksgiving turkeys that may give you a few problems

Just teriffic as always. I showed some of your creations to my Fiancee' She too says: "Wow Cool!" Then she uttered a curious "Hmmmm..." Like the kind of "Hmmmm..." I do when I see your work. An inspiration Savatheaggie. Thank you. Hey I hope to see (...) (22 years ago, 29-Nov-02, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general, lugnet.build.mecha)
