Re: How's this for a teaser,

Father, I see a Red Mecha, I see a cool design. The Sleeper must awaken. The Mech has cool features and the patented details. Are those SWBD Joints? Yes. Ahh ha. Love the reversed knees. The Dukal Signate Ring. Love the Jet Pack. Nice "eyes"! The (...) (22 years ago, 29-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New WWII Vehicles from Tosiaki

(...) Wow, great stuff! I had to print out the motorcycle and sidecar, I'm trying to finish my first WWII MOC, and it has a motorcycle front end (yeah, Shaun, you have a nice one too, so it won't be the first LEGO one). Thanks! George (22 years ago, 29-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.military)

  NWBrickCon reminder

I just wanted to remind everyone that registration is coming along, and if you want to get the quality polo NWBrickCon shirt we NEED to get your paperwork by Sept 14th. We'll have a few spares, not many and they won't be available at the con, so (...)   Re: Want list

By tradition these kinds of posts are supposed to go in the Marketplace newsgroups (probably lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade in your case). The theme newsgroups are ideally for sharing MOCs and discussing theme related matters. -- Hop-Frog (22 years ago, 29-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Little one.

Here's a little one. It's called The Martian Mech because only martian minfigs will fit, which isn't a problem because most of it is made from a Life On Mars set. (URL) way this will compare to the really great work by the rest of you, but I built (...) (22 years ago, 29-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New WWII Vehicles from Tosiaki

I just saw those today, and I must say that they are fantastic. I love the diversity and range of all those military themed Lego creations. I'm probably remiss in not saying this sooner, but I love Tosiaki's MOCs. If I had to pick a favorite, it'd (...) (22 years ago, 29-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: My latest Moc..

Thanks for checking it out. I actully managed to build this building in about two days. I started on the second floor first then built the first floor. Then had about two revisions on the roof and it was done. Also something that is hard to see in (...) (22 years ago, 29-Aug-02, to lugnet.build)

Re: How many unique minifig faces are there?

Hi. I've made updates to the Brickshelf galleries (we'll have to wait for modification again to see them, of course), fixing the errors mentioned above. The Adventurer I'd forgotten to scan has become face 012, replacing the duplicate of face 100. (...) (22 years ago, 29-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

Re: How many unique minifig faces are there?

(...) G'day, I've actually been toying with building a parts database containing different printed parts, part variations [solid/hollow studs] and eventually parts version [pat pend on base, part number, lattice/cylinder plates]...looks like I'd (...)   How's this for a teaser,

Re: How many unique minifig faces are there?

I also see the necessity in differentiating between the two types of studs on sites like (...) (22 years ago, 28-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

Re: How many unique minifig faces are there?

(...) Has this been established as a "different" face? Or are they just variations in darkness of the same face? I don't really have an opinion either way, but if other people want to argue it out, I'll sit back and listen. @8^) -Rev. Smith (22 years ago, 28-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

Re: How many unique minifig faces are there?

(...) It takes a very fine eye to see it, but yes, there is a very slight difference in the right quadrant of the left eyebrow, you will notice a 15% declination of the black ink which is present in 012 but lacking in 100. OK, I'm joking. You've (...) (22 years ago, 28-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.minifigs)
