  Moonbase, mech, pod, flyer and a Spiffcraft
 
This is my moon base. It is prety much a one room building with a counter and a clerk droid. I will probably remake it to be bigger and have something in it. Now that's ugly. In a square greelbie kinda way. The gaps are cool. You'l see my version of a greeblie-gap soon (Amazing how two people can do pretty much the same thing at the same time without either knowing...). PS I wanna see the docking (...) Now THAT's a bruiser! Really a wonderful job Rick. I especially like how you've incorporated the swing panel design of the Republic Gunship into the airlock port...it gives it that armoured, secured feel. The interior is very efficient and (...) OK, here's an example of a poll included right onto a LUGNET member page: (URL) do this, I simply added [Poll 14] at the bottom of that page. A shoebox never looked so good! Seriously, I haven't built a non-Star Wars Lego ship, not to mention an original creation, in years and years, but your ship reminds me why it is a worthwhile pursuit. This thing weighs a good 15-20lb, and took me over 36 hours to build. so enjoy. Inspiration came from the Wild Karrde and a Shoebox. Enjoy. (...) You realize, of course, there is a very nice way to stiffen those joints significantly in both axes. I'll post it in a couple of weeks, but the technique is very similar to the plate hinge stiffening technique. Personally, on my wish list is a (...) Hello y'all- As a dedicated mecha builder, I don't usually post in .military, but hey, who cares? Anyway, my somewhat-new model, the Stormbringer Tank, is up on Brickshelf along with it's .ldr file. (...) The listed copyright owners of the core Gundam series are Sotsu Agency and Sunrise. Bandai is the only company that I can think of that is currently producing Gundam related merchandise. I would definitely like to see Lego acquire a license and started producing mecha themed sets(if they can't do something cool on their own - highly likely). I've made a point of avoiding video games for years now. It's weird because I love them. I know this is gonna seem REALLY Old Skool, but, I loved my Nintendo! My favotite mecha video game is without a doubt Xenogears. Now, i know what you are thinking, "There are a ton of mecha video games out there that are alot better then this, whatr an idiot , he has probly never played anything else, like battle (...)
