  Re: Circular airlock!

(...) Thanks Jude. It'll never all be done, don't worry. Always new ideas from everyone. This is probably my first (or second) real *original* idea, with no evolution from someone else's stuff. (...) Ah, I'm one step ahead of you. I already have (...) (22 years ago, 1-Jul-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

(...) Thanks Jon. A darkroom, eh? Interesting; never heard of that before. -Chris (22 years ago, 1-Jul-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

(...) Now if you use the HP rounded corners, you could make it a secret passage to a castle. Jude (22 years ago, 1-Jul-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

  Re: Circular airlock!

(...) Thanks Ross. (...) No, you wouldn't be able to seal it flush with the door. I just meant to put some additional tiles on top (maybe like a 6x6 area, turtable included). Just to add a bit more to it. (...) Yep. -Chris (22 years ago, 1-Jul-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

This is great. I remember the dark room back at my high school had the exact same door. -Jon -- | The Shipyard - (URL) My Lego Creations - (URL) Attack of the Bricks - (URL) <Xcalabur@rocketmail.com> wrote in message news:GyJoMH.37H@lugnet.com...   Re: Circular airlock!

That is cool Chris! I'd just have one comment - it mightn't be as easy as you think to get a seal at the top - unless LEGO have made 4x4 tiles with round corner. There's no tile that would match exactly to the edge of the cylinder. However you may (...) (22 years ago, 1-Jul-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

Re: New creation: The Field dog

Nice man! The flex hose gun barrels are sweet! And missle launcher on the hand (not shoulder) change is cool to. Hey, I didn't get to look (limited web time y'know) so could ya' tell me what the hip joints are? Thanx! May the Brick be with you! * (...) (22 years ago, 1-Jul-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Circular airlock!

(...) Thanks John. Those plates are just a floor-y type thing I added on, since the airlock would have been at the corner, thus not very much floor space in front of it. Yeah, you could make a docking mechanism if you just removed the plates in (...) (22 years ago, 1-Jul-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

Re: New creation: The Field dog

(...) I think it's a fine mecha...that's what I think! I definitely like this scale of mecha (seems about the same size as some of Mark Neuman's stuff); it seems somewhere inbetween a mecha and mechanized armor, filling an important niche in a good (...)   Nova MOC Update

Well, I'm back again. I finally got the rest of the Nova pix uploaded so you Lego Freaks (myself included) can go and check them out!   Re: Circular airlock!

(...) Now THAT is cool! Couldn't that be used as a docking mechinism? Remove the plates that stick out (what are they for, exactly?) and two of those corners would fit snugly, creating a small empty space in the middle. Great idea, Chris. -JHK (22 years ago, 1-Jul-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

  Circular airlock!

Hi all, Here's that round airlock I mentioned earlier. To go straight to the pics: (URL) and 2 show the outside, with airlock open and closed. 3 and 4 show the inside, with airlock open and closed. 5 shows the roof removed. You can see the how the (...)   Re: New creation: The Field dog

(...) Geordan, like it! It has a very mass-produced utility look to it. As the Admiral noted, the studless look goes great with it. Cool color scheme too. Dunno if the feet agree with me tho... Great job! -Chris (22 years ago, 30-Jun-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New creation: The Field dog

Great job once again Geordan! I really like the long (AA? High Velocity? Rail?) guns; darn cool. And the attachable shield and yellow missile tube pod are good additions too.
