Re: Ice Planet Entry: Frostbite Hoverbike

Hey, thanks Gil. This basic design has been in my arsenal for quite some time; I just never got the black and green version posted. So I figured this was a good time to change it a bit. :-) White, blue, and trans. orange? What *were* they thinking? (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jun-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

Re: Ice Planet Entry: Frostbite Hoverbike

Cool (so to speak)!!! Great use of SNOT and angles to keep the lines clean, clean, clean. Even makes these awful colours look presentable. Cheers, -G (...) (22 years ago, 3-Jun-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

Re: Ice Planet 2002 Contest Entry 1 - Icespeeder

(...) You know what, you are right. I came up with the categories and I got them confused. <g> I will get that corrected. Thanks, Jude (22 years ago, 3-Jun-02, to lugnet.build.contests)

Re: Ice Planet 2002 Contest Entry 1 - Icespeeder

(...) Isn't this a Category VIII - Ice Planet Paint? A TLC set redone in Ice Planet colors? Peter (22 years ago, 3-Jun-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

  Ice Planet Entry: Frostbite Hoverbike

Hi all, 'Nother Ice Planet entry; this time it's a category I polybag creation (with 43 elements) The Frostbite is a personal speeder with limited height capabilities. Great for getting across the ice plains in a hurry. This is a civilian-ish (...) (22 years ago, 3-Jun-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

Re: Ice Planet 2002 Contest Page Updated

(...) Actuall, it turned out that I had more time than I expected, so I went ahead and did all the entries except for David's non-competing ones. Please tell me if i've made any mistakes, or included descriptions that wern't meant to be included, (...) (22 years ago, 3-Jun-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.announce)

Ice Planet 2002 Contest Page Updated

Hey all, The IP 2002 page has been updated with the first entry, by Jude Beaudin. Also, the music has been removed! (I know you're all probably rejoicing about that). A question to the Ice Worm: Do i just copy and paste the entries from the posts, (...) (22 years ago, 3-Jun-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.build, lugnet.announce)

  Re: NOM-03 Eva 14

Looking good Borislav! ;-) Even though I dislike Evangelion greatly, I do adore the EVA mecha. I like your rendition of the mecha. Nice machine gun too. Say, don't those EVAs have pellet guns? I really liked those weapons... Too bad you didn't build (...) (22 years ago, 3-Jun-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Adam

(...) Thanks Mladen! The reason I stay to Technic and Bionicle parts is because I'm intimidated by mech guys like YOU! lol But someday..someday I'll get up enough nerve to build something in brick. Jeff (22 years ago, 3-Jun-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: NOM-03 Eva 14

(...) Definitely an improvement over the first design. As an MOC, I think this is a very good mecha. I like theat you are using t-bot gearboxes for some of the joints; this looks more substantial than a "puppet" as K would say. As an EVA, I think it (...)   Re: Me 262

(...) Wow, that is very nice... I've thought before on how one would make an Me262 and had given up because of all the curves. This is really inventive! Take care, Gary (22 years ago, 1-Jun-02, to lugnet.build.military)

  Updated Building Pics

I am gradually updating pics of my buildings, and in most cases the pics will reflect changes here and there that I've made. Since most of my MOCs pics before this year were actually stills from a video camera, they are not very sharp-- but now I (...) (22 years ago, 1-Jun-02, to lugnet.build.arch)

  MoTeC Winners: April

Hi all! After some fuss about rules etc. I've decided to keep the model that "broke" the rules since it's rulebrake was minor and of no use for the model. Sorry about the locomotion. Overall winner: Brian Sadowski with his Shrimp rover! 29% of the (...) (22 years ago, 1-Jun-02, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.robotics, lugnet.modelteam, lugnet.technic)

Re: The Cadillac of the Skies

So many gems, so little time (to post). The promo poster is a beauty...really captures that 50's glam-ad look that the big 3 used, to say nothing of the sleek little number it depicts. Seeing this make me think that a small civvie vehicle run of MOC (...) (22 years ago, 31-May-02, to lugnet.town, lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

Re: Battleship Soon Beginning Construction, Need Ideas and Tips

(...) Well... If you build decks by; laying down plates, then covering the seems with 2 wide bricks, then laying down another layer of plates; you can get away with very minimal supports. (like the walls of your rooms/bays should suffice) Of course (...) (22 years ago, 31-May-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

Re: The Cadillac of the Skies

(...) I am surprised that their are no replies to this. Your 'caddy' is very cool looking. Strictly from a design stand point it is much better than the TLC 'taxi'. Of course their design was intended to mimic the speeder from Episode 2. -Mike (...) (22 years ago, 31-May-02, to lugnet.town, lugnet.space, lugnet.build)
