Re: TKOI Create a Creature Contest Homepage updated, Entries needed!

(...) Just wondering, were there results from this contest? I know there weren't many entries, but it's the first contest I've entered so I'd hate to have it disappear. Bruce (22 years ago, 17-May-02, to lugnet.build.contests)

Re: New Fire Apparatus Pics, 6 wides

HOLY.... And just think, 2 days ago, my freind was saying you probly don't have them all built, well, you just showed him! Looks like I'll have to get to work now too! On to finishing my tiller. The most suprising thing to me is the size of the (...) (22 years ago, 17-May-02, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town)

  Re: Very nice models Mattias

Thanks Bryce More pictures are coming up during the weekend. I simply had to modify the engine nozzles since I don't have the parts you used. The parts I used are from the 7191 UCS X-Wing. There is a dark lightsabre inside to keep it together (...) (22 years ago, 17-May-02, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Sidebar links

(...) Hmm, very few people have even *heard* of the PB4Y. What's your connection to it? The Grumman Goose is new to me, though. I think I may have seen pics of it here or there, but never gave it much thought... --Bill. (22 years ago, 17-May-02, to lugnet.build.military)

  Very nice models Mattias

I really like the pics that you posted Mattias. That color scheme looks so much better in real life than it does in MLCAD or renders. I also love the alterations/improvements that you've done - the engine nozzles fit perfectly and I love how you (...) (22 years ago, 17-May-02, to lugnet.build.military)

  Actually Mark...

(...) ...You're only about the 4th or 5th person to ask me for the .dats. I don't have a website so I can't post them there, so I usually just sent them out to interested parties via e-mail. I'll see what I can do about getting you those 2 you (...) (22 years ago, 17-May-02, to lugnet.build.military)

  New MOC: Absolute Zero turbocycle

Hi all, Mr. Drake beat me yet again, but I prevail! Here is my Ice Planet contest turbocycle - the Absolute Zero. At 96 pieces, it falls in the category II ground vehicles section. Some notes: Tires + ice = bad, but these tires have (...) (22 years ago, 17-May-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

  Re: Sidebar links

(...) I'm not sure on the link, but WOW on the plane. Truely inspiring. The PB4Y has always been my favorite prop plane. That and the Gruman Goose. 'Hope someone can answer your question though. :) Later, Mark (22 years ago, 17-May-02, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: Small update on my Military Aircraft MOCs

Hi Bryce, You probably get asked this all the time. I would love to try building one of your models, like the F-18G or the F-15E. I read on this thread that you gave the .dat for your F16 to Mattias Martensson (lucky dog) , so I was wondering what I (...) (22 years ago, 17-May-02, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: New Fire Apparatus Pics, 6 wides

(...) ah, thanks for explaining. That is exactly what I thought was done. Thanks again. Very nice trucks all around. Best, Jonathan (22 years ago, 17-May-02, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town)

Re: New Fire Apparatus Pics, 6 wides

(...) Well, that very thing is what has taken that tower 6 years to be perfected. I have tried many different methods for stablizers, using lego type methods. Then it dawned on me to simply try the real thing. The station I work at in real life has (...) (22 years ago, 17-May-02, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town)

(...) 50s/60s style Seagrave Rescue Pumper. (...) Very nice stuff. A lot of it too! I am also intrigued by the stablizers on the tower truck. I have tried this method too and I like it, but I have trouble making the stablizers on the *other* side (...) (22 years ago, 17-May-02, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town)

Re: Small update on my Military Aircraft MOCs

  Re: Greek gods

  Re: IP2002 blather

(...) I'm not competing, but thanks for checking it out. Cool page BTW. The use of the grid background makes me think of 8 and 16 bit video games. I like the puffy snow logo too. With all the quotes and MOCs, you seem to be having almost too much (...) (22 years ago, 17-May-02, to lugnet.build)

  IP2002 blather

  Re: Greek gods

(...) Thank you. :-) (...) The torso of Hepaestus is actually the back of the double sided Green Goblin torso from studio set #1374 Green Goblin. IMO, the back is a neat as the front.   Re: Greek gods

(...) Leah - great job on the plastic gods. I really like your project of creating mini-fig versions of a range of deities from the same pantheon.
