  Re: Jet and Spike

I saw the your gunboat last week and was inspired. I started last week to make a ship that shared many of the same elements but isn't nearly as good. I just wanted to thank you for giving me ideas that kept me busy for a few hours. My ship is at: (...) (23 years ago, 12-Mar-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: Agiel

Oh, man! Well, the Brickswest photos took _some_ of the mystery out of the unveiling, but took _none_ of the jaw-dropping awe-inspiring feeling away. Agiel is at once terrifying and beautiful-- like a king cobra or a super-nova. The scale, the (...) (23 years ago, 12-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: A very inspiring design

Joe's awesome-- no doubt. Just when you think he's covered every style of bipedal motion, he comes up with another. I'd LOVE to see some more (besides Eric Sophie's brilliant creations) lego mecha that are actually mobile. I've yet to incorporate my (...)   Lego Scale Conversion Tool

If you're a freak like me, you love to convert things into minifig scale and technic scale. You want to see exactly how long a minifig-scale mile would be. And how tall would the Sears tower be in technic scale? Would a minifig scale aircraft (...) (23 years ago, 12-Mar-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build, lugnet.faq) !!

Re: trying to get a head in life

Well, let's see. What's your definition of "medium." For me that'd be a head maybe 4x4 stud squarish. (actually that'd be a good string, define your size... Eric's small is probably pretty close to my large) But, back on topic. You're going to hate (...) (23 years ago, 12-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

trying to get a head in life

I am having alot of trouble making heads for medium size mecha. Ihave looked at many designs around here and in other places, but i just can't seem to get it right. The only requirments I have is that it is centered onto a single stud and fits a (...) (23 years ago, 11-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: A very inspiring design

Wow! This biped is awsome. Joe has some very slick designs, I am completly humbled by this simplicity of this particular biped. It even turns, which is VERY hard to implement. There are other bipeds that claim to turn..I have serious doubts about (...) (23 years ago, 11-Mar-02, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.build)
