  Re: Swarm Warrior update...

(...) LOL! Yes, a technifig is under his foot in the picture. I was wondering if anybody would notice that. Actualy, I considered building the technifig a powered suit and THEN putting him under the Swarm Warrior's foot. -- Mark Nelson LCC Command: (...) (23 years ago, 24-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: A Little Stealthy Bot

Cute guy, I see how you mathematically figured out the reflection angles of the brick to make it stealty... er or something like that. I particuarily like the goggles on the clear helm. Great work as ever! Mark Neumann (23 years ago, 24-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: A Little Stealthy Bot

(...) Hey, weren't you taking a break from Lego? Not that I'm complaining :-) This new stealthy bot would have been useful at BricksWest for those K8 boxes. I can see the looks of confusion on people's faces when they reach down for a part, only to (...) (23 years ago, 24-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: I finally finished my roller coaster!

Matt- Abosolutely fabulous roller coaster! Thomas, David, and I have thought about doing a roller coaster for as long as they have been building LEGO and we appreciate all the difficult issues you had do deal with -- and no doubt many more that only (...)   Re: A Little Stealthy Bot

Heh, neat Eric! This stealthy version seems sorta evil; it has those antennas and fins on the arms. What does it do with them? Sends jamming signals and cuts through enemy defences? And that robot piloting it, how do we really know he ain't crazy (...) (23 years ago, 24-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: A Little Stealthy Bot

(...) Reminds me of the evil antimatter version of the Robot from Lost in Space. The blue bots build things. The black bots destroy things. Can't have one without the other in the lego universe, where parts are intended to be recycled. Lego (...) (23 years ago, 24-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Gundam Reunion

(...) The yellow is part of the traditional gundam color scheme. It's very "festive".:) (...) As I said, I think I'm going to rebuild 05 before doing any more photography of it.   Re: Gundam Reunion

(...) I built a head and torso a few months ago but let it sit for too long and ended up redesigning everything from scratch. That gundam is part of a "lost episode", discarded on the cutting room floor. This new one is the same height as the (...) (23 years ago, 24-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Gundam Reunion

(...) I still haven't made a waist that tilts forwards and backwards. I tend to do incremental improvements. What would be neat would be to combine both twisting and tilting in a strong, compact package with worm gear actuation. "K" (23 years ago, 24-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
