  Re: My Starcruiser

(...) Well, I don't generally rate other peoples' models; I'm typically more of a selfish and anti-social type. But you asked. :-, I'm not going to be gentle, but please bear with me... A starship that size would need really big engines. Take a look (...) (25 years ago, 22-Jul-99, to lugnet.build)

(...) Isn't nanowave weapons technology banned by the Third Trans-Sapient Convention of 12499? Will I have to report you to the Democratic Order Of Planets? Cheers, - jsproat (25 years ago, 21-Jul-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: MOC: LEGO Darth Maul

(...) That's really good. I'd suggest using the other color bricks to support the back so it doesn't fall over, or if you're really adventurous, build a 3-d Darth Maul bust and use the other colors as filling for the center (which doesn't have to be (...)   Re: My Starcruiser

(...) Actually, I don't know exactly what to rate it cuz I would need to know what it's primary uses are. But is it atmosphere re-entry capable? Is it just to get business folks from here to there? Is it pleasure or military craft? Is it a science (...) (25 years ago, 21-Jul-99, to lugnet.build)

(...) Pretty nice. At least a 7. One nitpick, though. Your image in .gif format is 270kbytes in size - over 1/4 of a meg! Convert it to .jpg and you can scrunch that down to about 50kb - making the download *much* faster. Plus, jpg has 24bit color, (...) (25 years ago, 21-Jul-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: My new Engine: SD70M

THIS ENGINE ROCKS. Really. Raises the bar on engine detail and accuracy. Very nice. AND it's in WARBONNET!!! Need bigger pictures, though. My big beef is using those notched end 1.2x6 end railings on the side. Those are just wrong. Everyone does it, (...) (25 years ago, 20-Jul-99, to lugnet.build, lugnet.trains)

  Re: Wing Commander models?

I started to build one of the heavier fighters from WC2 or 3, more as a concept project than anything. It might have been the Scimitar. I only completed the cabin and nose before I needed some of the parts for another project. It employed lots of (...) (25 years ago, 20-Jul-99, to lugnet.build)

Re: 2 Vehicles and more pics of Fallingwater

Bram, Great models. I really like the Semi and Falling water is very cool because it is something I would be able to recognize with anyone telling me what it was just because of its unique architecture.
