Re: G-meist goes public! well sort of,

I hope you continue to participate and show (...) (23 years ago, 10-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Re: Octan World Headquarters

(...) I like yellow just fine - after all, I have a 3033 Blue Tub full of yellow pieces. And I sure understand the lack of "real world" colored bricks in bulk tubs like the 3033. (...) Of course! And now that the Shell™ Exxon™ and Esso™ oil (...) (23 years ago, 10-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town)

Re: Newly discovered Japanese mech site

(...) Oops.. sorry, should have searched first (...) Personally, i like the consistancy, like its an actual production line. I think there's 2 ways to go, use variety and see how many radical design you can come up with, or, as in this case and (...) (23 years ago, 10-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Octan World Headquarters

(...) Yeah, those Life On Mars fan housings are doing a pretty good job up there, aren't they. :) Thanks Adrian (23 years ago, 10-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town)

  Re: Octan World Headquarters

(...) Hey, don't be badmouthing the yellow :) And the fact that the Bricksburg Hotel and the Octan HQ are the same color is strictly coincidence. Since I was modelling the Octan HQ after a real building (and I didn't have 50,000 tan bricks) I built (...) (23 years ago, 10-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town)

  Re: Octan World Headquarters

(...) Thanks. I wanted to try and emulate the sloped front of the real building as close as possible. The best way to do that, since I used all my thin walls for the roof panels, was to use car windshields, similar to what I used on the Museum ((URL) (23 years ago, 10-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.arch)
