  Re: Technic A-10 Warthog

(...) Yes. The real thing is balanced by the gun. In fact, when the gun is removed, a series of large heavy plates are put in its place for just that reason. I worked F-16 weapons for the 57 FWW. Which was a composite training wing with a wide (...) (23 years ago, 30-Nov-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Ogre

(...) Congratulations! You may have just created the first MOC able to be crossposted into castle AND build.mecha! Whoo-hoo! Were you even aware that you were esentially making an origami mech? It's nice, where ever it belongs! Matt (23 years ago, 30-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Second major set up

crunch-o-matic wrote in message ... (...) gallery. (...) the basement windows. My only gripe would be the front steps, the first one is a BIG step up - might look better with another step in front of it. I look forward to seeing the rest of the (...) (23 years ago, 30-Nov-01, to lugnet.build)

Re: Blactron 1 design comp - when does it officially start?

MS-06 Zaku Production at the Foundry

Zaku's are being produced at the Foundry. Take a look. . . (URL) Foundry is my "yet to be released because I'm waiting for some more mechs" website or "YTBRBIWFSMM" website for those who love acronyms. The factory seen in the pics started out as an (...)   Re: Mecha Building Contest

(...) I'd like to add one more to eric's list. Mech Joint design. Something new that hasn't been shared yet here in build.mecha. It could be an ankle joint or shoulder, whatever but i think this would be an awesome quick thing that everyone could (...) (23 years ago, 30-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Mecha Building Contest

(...) I think those categories sizes are pretty good Adrian. Those dimensions are very close to the way I'm dividing my mechs up on my website. I'm using HG to denote mechs smaller than 10", MG for mechs from 10"-18" and PG for anything bigger than (...) (23 years ago, 30-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Technic A-10 Warthog

(...) Sure! I'll see what I can do this weekend to get a little more detail of that area. Adrian (23 years ago, 30-Nov-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Technic A-10 Warthog

(...) It would be great if you just show the detail of the flightstick part by photo or LDraw. Your A-10 is the Technic model of the year! (23 years ago, 30-Nov-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Technic A-10 Warthog

(...) Well, technic figs come apart somewhat easily, so I could litter it with some shrapnel from one of them :) Maybe my next project will be a minifig scale A-10. Now that I've built the big version, I might be able to do a smaller one. I don't (...) (23 years ago, 30-Nov-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.build.military)

Re: Zizy (Japanese Mecha) Site Update!

(...) That is some sweet microfig stuff. So many creations to boot! I could probably sit there for a couple hours! I wish he had thumbs too. It's pretty difficult to know what's what. Any body want to post specific models of interest? I did notice a (...) (23 years ago, 30-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Technic A-10 Warthog

Nice to see the good ole Thunderbolt II!!!!! Sad it's in technic form, no dismembered minifigs from the cannon on front. :P Does the seat really slide in? that makes a neat ejection system. the rotating machine gun is good too. I also like how you (...) (23 years ago, 30-Nov-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Mecha Building Contest

(...) I think it would be cool if there were various size categories. Small (origami mecha), medium (say up to 10 inches tall), large (up to 16 inches tall) and "holy crap that thing's freaking HUGE!" (sponsored by Eric Sophie and Bryce McGlone) My (...)   Re: Technic A-10 Warthog

(...) Ya know, that makes sense with respect to the gun. The way that the plane is designed, the rear landing gear are pretty far forward (in fact, I think they may be right smack in the middle) and with the engines hanging off the back, it's (...)   Re: Technic A-10 Warthog

(...) Probably not. It would be completely impossible for me to Ldraw all the wiring, tubing, and flex cables. If the inspiration strikes me, I might be able to do part of it, though it's unlikely. Adrian (23 years ago, 30-Nov-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Technic A-10 Warthog

(...) GAH!!! You can say that again. You struck a chord in my soul my friend. This here is my favorite bird. AWESOME JOB!!! A couple of notes for you though. Don't feel bad about it being aft heavy. I don't know how many of you have seen the big pirate display I had up (the big ship has almost 10,000 views yipee!), but is being taken over by my first train and town display. It is appox 112 X 384 studs. It will have a 9V passenger train and 2 (...) (23 years ago, 30-Nov-01, to lugnet.build)
