Re: 2nd Annual Space Building Contest?

Dear Scrutinizer: I think we need to have two things cleared up: 1. Now that I am building with MLcad, I realize that it is quite hard to know if a certain element does or does not exist in a particular color in the real world (the Peeron and Vatima (...)   BT1 contest

A Blacktron MOC contest is too good to pass up. Some of my entries will look familiar if you visit Brickshelf, but they've never been in a contest before, so I think I'm within the rules. This is for a small ground set: (URL) called "The Light (...) (23 years ago, 25-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.contests)

Re: Blactron 1 design comp - when does it officially start?

(...) Well, *I* have started already, I think Muffinhead started something awhile back as well. It'll probably be a couple more days, or longer, before I actualy get it finished and take pics and whatnot though. :D ---SteveR (23 years ago, 25-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

Those taps* are also used in the engine of one of the supercars, again attached to a rubber tube James *I'm British and the word faucet isn't in my vocabulary :P "Allan Bedford" <apotomeREMOVE-THIS@...vista.net> wrote in message (...) (23 years ago, 25-Nov-01, to lugnet.build)

Blactron 1 design comp - when does it officially start?

I feel kinda dumb asking this as I'm on the committee, but when does this thing officially start? The web page is up and ready at (URL) and I'm ready to start taking entries. I was under the impression that Jude was "in charge" here, but if I am, (...) (23 years ago, 24-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

Re: The Gomgile is a semi-finalist!

Hey everybody! Thanks, we'll find out in Spring 2002 who will win the Grand Prize. The book deal is related but separete, I'll be in the book either way. When it is published it should be avail. thru the ussual book places, Borders, Barnes and (...) (23 years ago, 24-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Torso Action

I really like that spine idea. I know Chris was thinking of making some sort of spine as well. I remember you talking about making a mecha with a sort of pendelum action for the torso...couterbalance type concept. Though the LBB doesn't use that (...)   Re: Torso Action

Wow! Very cool Eric. Applying this system to a larger scaled mecha is ambitious. Good for you, and good luck with GG Mech! ;-) (...) (23 years ago, 24-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: ------( Welcome to lugnet.build.mecha )------

(...) hehe, one time I decided to go all of the way back to post number one and read on from there, (not all of it of course!) I went through scouring for mecha pics etc, although alot of the pages they were hosted on before are now gone, :-( (...) (23 years ago, 24-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Torso Action

(...) That is very cool, very innovative, (...) I probably should on my next mecha, since it will be to scale with that design, I'll just have to figure out some sort of armour plating that shifts with it, shouldn't be *too* hard, :-) (...) (...) (23 years ago, 24-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
