Some suggestions for "Blacktron-ness": - Color, you got to have Black and Yellow with a little trans-red! :-) - Style! (...) Since the competitors are the judges, I would say it is up to them. This contest is a BT1 contest so I hope most entries try to stay true to BT1 design. (...) By "one in front of the other" do you mean "back to back"? If you put 'em back to back, you can probably angle them as well--tilt them downward about 30 degrees and the curvature would be absolutely perfect. Can't wait to see the pictures! For my next model, I chose the Fokker Dr. 1, which was Baron Manfred von Richthofen's favored plane. Note the iron cross - the 'Balkenkeuz' on the side of the fusalage. Sadly enough, I don't own any Blacktron 1 minifigs. Will that bar me from entering this contest? Will I have to sell my soul to Ebay to get some minifigs? Or can I just use some "other" black minifigs? (...) (23 years ago, 15-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.contests)
