Hi Rufus, I have some older catalogs that may help. I have an american catalog from 1973 and a couple of british idea books/catalogs from the period when lego didn't put year of release on their material. They mention such sets as basic sets 020 (...) (25 years ago, 3-Jul-99, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

I don't know about anyone else but when I see a Gary Istok post I feel the urge to grab a cup of tea and a biscut, make myself comfortable and indulge in a bit of nostalga while I read his posts.
