  Re: Announcing PB4Y-2 "Privateer"

Very Impressive model. I love to see the models of the USAAF and USNAF. This gives me more incentive to find the time to finish my in-design B-24. Maybe I will since all of my black and red is in the hull of my sub right now. I might look into it, (...) (23 years ago, 28-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.military)

I was doing a little MLcad practice and I came up with this: (URL) think it's come out rather well, although having an HO scale Roco model to hand helped enourmously. Steve (23 years ago, 28-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: three new photos

(...) Looks great to me, Stuart! I get the feeling of the female form from the pics alone without having to actually feel it. What doesn't accurately come across is the scale: I can tell it's much taller than it originally seems, but I'm not sure (...) (23 years ago, 27-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  marsbase update...

Well, looks like it's time for the six month update. 8) Some of you may have seen a small pic of this posted to brickshelf a while ago. Then again, maybe not. 8) While not as artistic or fanciful as a lot of the really great mecha popping up here (...) (23 years ago, 28-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Cockpit resource idea...

(...) The cockpit in my PB4Y-2 is fairly simple, but there is one key trick that you might like to include: using 1x2 plates with center stud to squeeze a 2-seat cockpit into a 6-wide space. I basically built a 5-wide cockpit and mounted it at 1/2 (...) (23 years ago, 28-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.military)

  Announcing PB4Y-2 "Privateer"

Some of you on build.military may remember I was asking for advice on building gun turrets. I finally finished that and many other challenges, and am pleased to reveal the results of my efforts. The Consolidated PB4Y-2 is a Navy patrol bomber based (...) (23 years ago, 28-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.announce, lugnet.build) !

(...) 3-D pumpkins from their instructions. I found, however, that the 2-D pumpkin was too small in my opinion, and there were too many pieces left over. So I set out to create a bigger pumpkin, using only the pieces from those two Pumpkin Packs. (...) (23 years ago, 28-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.contests)

  Re: Dark Gundam site update

(...) Malden, I truly envy you for this: "Oh, and stop making the rest of us (mecha builders) look so bad! ;-D" You accept it so so so so so easily! Now about the site update, hmm, I really don't know what to say. For the first time in my life I am (...) (23 years ago, 28-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Mech-Zuna, Chapters 3-4

(...) Boy did you choose a time to post or what!? To be honest I got confused with this last chapter of the story, but I can't wait for the battles! Have fun! Bobby (NOM) (23 years ago, 28-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
