instructions for building a head and face

  2nd Annual Space Building Contest?

Well, the 1st Annual Space Building COntest was held exactly a year ago. Will there be a second? Just throwing an idea here.. if a second contest is formed, may I suggest the theme this time be Blacktron 1 style as opposed to Classic Space styled (...)   Re: Mystery Mech spotted - OT

Who's talking mechs? You should -see- the size of our grasshoppers and locusts 'down under'. I'm thinking a 70t grasshopper may be a bit restrained actually. They crush cars, eat children, and certainly give the drop-bears a run for their money.... (...) (23 years ago, 26-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Super Saturday Project

Well, tomorrow is Super Saturday and I spent the other day taking pictures and making some instructions for the kids to use.   Re: Cockpit resource idea...

(...) Geordan, This sound like a great idea, historically "right" cockpits are very tough. I can't contribute anything yet though, unless you like a WWI washtub type one. Thanks, George (23 years ago, 26-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.military)

I was comparing a real life grasshopper to a real life locust -- in which case grasshoppers are 'basically' a smaller version of the critters. :) I wasn't drawing a Mech-to-Mech comparison and (...)   Cockpit resource idea...

Heya'all! When building any sort of aricraft, one of the most challenging thing, is coming up with a cockpit that not only resembles the real thing, but also allows room for a minifigure.   Re: Classic Space Helmets - A question...

how many have only one dimple? (...) I wouldn't say they were anomalies Wayne. I have about 60 of the classic space guys so I decided to check out there helmets. Sure enough some had dimples and some didn't. Weird after all these years I never noticed. (23 years ago, 25-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.space)

  K'Nex Battlemechs

I don't recall seeing a post about this, but I was at TRU last night and saw that K'Nex has licensed for Mech Warrior.
