Re: Classic Space Helmets - A question...

how many have only one dimple? I'm guessing that is an accident but I don't know. it is possible that a left mold with dimple and right with out (or vise versa) were put together. but man that seems weird. as for the dimples they are normal. I don't (...) (23 years ago, 25-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.space)

Re: Classic Space Helmets - A question...

(...) I wouldn't say they were anomalies Wayne. I have about 60 of the classic space guys so I decided to check out there helmets. Sure enough some had dimples and some didn't. Weird after all these years I never noticed. (23 years ago, 25-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.space)

Re: Classic Space Helmets - A question...

(...) I was not aware of any Classic Space Helmets that did not have dimples. The first place a "visor" was used with the helmet was with the Yellow Castle. There were "Plumed Visors" for each of the four knights. If you have any helmets without (...) (23 years ago, 25-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.space)

  K'Nex Battlemechs

I don't recall seeing a post about this, but I was at TRU last night and saw that K'Nex has licensed for Mech Warrior. They had sets of the Mad Cat, Shadow Cat and Cauldron Borne at the store I was at. And they shoot nerf-like missles. :) Found it (...)   Re: Mystery Mech spotted

(...) Mark -- that's a great design -- does it have an interior? Looks a smidge small for one, but I never write it off w/o asking. :) It looks very - Locust-like ala Battletech. I'd suggest Grasshopper but they're just small locust. ;) It's a sweet (...) (23 years ago, 25-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Mystery Mech spotted

(...) Mark, this is a great design! I'll have to get back to you on the name though...the immediate name that popped into my head was the 'Mantid'. I think that's due to the color, but at 4am, it's hard to be certain. :) Have a good one and keep on (...) (23 years ago, 25-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Mystery Mech spotted

There's been an unidentified mech spotted. Take a look and see for yourself; (URL) there's more. You see I haven't come up with a good name yet and so I thought it might be fun to see what LUGNETters come up with. So e-mail me (...) (23 years ago, 25-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Japanese guy's Bf 109,

Oh never mind, the translation says that it's a fockewulfe 190 or ta 152, their goes my knowledge of WWII aircraft, ;-) Sorry for the initial shock there Shaun. ;-) -Geordan- (...) (23 years ago, 25-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.military)

  Japanese guy's Bf 109,

Hey pretty cool, Not very clean, espeically up front, but still cool, love the landing gear. (URL) know someone isn't going to be too happy. ;-) -Geordan- (23 years ago, 25-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: M3 Halftrack in Japan

Heh... I use Babel Fish all the time when viewing all these Japanese sites. Like you mentioned Ross, it's *far* from perfect, but at least it's [1] something! ;-D Mladen Pejic, over and out! (...) Go to (URL) and type the URL in there. It's not perfect, but you can usually get the gist. ROSCO (23 years ago, 25-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Billund Building question

(...) Thank you! That is the only explanation I can come up with as well. I will have to go home & experiment. Thanks again. Jonathan (23 years ago, 24-Oct-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Billund Building question

(...) The curved parts are 1x2 bricks, which have enough of a gap to be flexed into a curve. The curved section is 60+ studs across, although it's wonderfully scaled, so it's not easy to tell that it's that big. Each of the windows appears to be ~10 (...)   Billund Building question

I was poking through Brickshelf & came across this pic taken from Billund. Does anyone have any thoughts as to how the curve was made? It looks to smooth to be typical bricks staggered at full or even 1/2 stud intervals. (URL) can that be? Thanks (...) (23 years ago, 24-Oct-01, to lugnet.build)

M-2 "Liberty" Varient of M-Series Craft

Here is the M-2 Varient. It isn't what I thought it was going to be earlier. This varient is a fast courier-like vessel, with speed in design. It is armed with four missiles, and an Electromagnetic Pulse Emitter on the topside. It is equipped with (...) (23 years ago, 24-Oct-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.cad, lugnet.build)

(...) Agreed- it's an incredible castle. I too am glad to get to see the pictures! The sheer size is impressive, and the shape is executed very well.
