  Re: New building (Tan)

(...) What did you use to cut the pieces? ;-) J-2 knows cutting LEGO pieces is a pet peeve of mine. Although, I have to admit I <gasp!> cut a few pieces in one of the buildings I've posted recently... :-O JohnG, GMLTC aka 'J-1' (23 years ago, 16-Sep-01, to lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.general)

  Re: New Building (brown)

(...) Thanks. I use that technique in 3 other buildings I have yet to post. (...) As I think I mentioned, these are buildings that will appear on the Twin Cities LEGO Train Club layout.   Re: Large Baroque Palace

Thanks for the compliments. Yeah - Although this doesn't use any exceptionally rare parts, it uses a lot of semi-rare parts in large quantities.   Re: New Building (brown)

In lugnet.trains.org, John Neal writes: <snip> Both the brown AND the tan buildings are VERY nice. I especially like the sloped window sills in the brown one. But why is the post to trains.org? Worse, why aren't at least the FUT pointing away? I set (...) (23 years ago, 15-Sep-01, to lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.general)

  Re: Large Baroque Palace

(...) Ghasp! This is screaming to be build in real bricks, on the same grounds as such buildings where erected in the real world, namely being Insanely Expensive. Greetings, M. Moolhuysen. (23 years ago, 15-Sep-01, to lugnet.build.arch)

  New Building (brown)

Below is a pic of a plain old brown stone building. I started this one right after the brown bulk bricks became available, but it took a long time to collect enough of the brown arches to complete. I must say that I have really becoming a fan of (...) (23 years ago, 15-Sep-01, to lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.general)

  Re: MOC: Stealth Fighter Revealed

(...) I've added a few pictures of the aircraft's underside showing the landing gear and the internal bomb bays. The gear are simple in design - built with some technic elements. They are raised and lowered using click hinges. (23 years ago, 15-Sep-01, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: Amazing BMW model on Brickshelf

(...) As an automotive engineer I am simply in awe. The kidney shaped grill is great. (...) Yep, it's very cool! Looking at the rest of the trucks in his folders - there's no doubt that he is a master of the brick. (23 years ago, 15-Sep-01, to lugnet.build)

  Amazing BMW model on Brickshelf

"Stephan Legomen"'s latest screams BMW so loud, it's scary. This is yet another one of those models where you look at the Brickshelf thumbnail and wonder if its the real thing or a LEGO rendition. (...) Wow. As the picture loaded, I keep seeing each new detail and saying to myself, "That's cool, oh, that's cool, that's cool." Very Impressive.
