Timing, as they say, is everything, so in many ways even the idea of playing with LEGO seems a little absurd in light of recent events, but life will go on for us and there's nothing that any despicable coward can do that will conquer our (...) (...) I have used 1x1 bricks with the recessed side stud to attach groups of bricks at right angles. While I haven't tried 180 degrees - it should be doable - but may be bulky. (23 years ago, 14-Sep-01, to lugnet.build)

thanks. I used joint desgns that I found here: (URL) (although my wrist is a bit different, the pieces into which the "fingers" are plugged are topped with a 2x1 with center stud, which is attached to the back of a 1x1 headlight brick.
