(...) I agree, the way the smoothness of the aircraft has been captured is exceptional. It's cool. Carbon 60 (23 years ago, 9-Sep-01, to lugnet.build.military)

My site updated with MOC pnuematic engine

A minor site update to show 2 MOC's: a pneumatic V4 engine, and a pneumatic powered car chassis. A couple MPG's are available which show them in operation. Follow the links off my homepage at: (URL) Hope you like them. Brian <an infrequent poster> (...) (23 years ago, 9-Sep-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

  MOC: Stealth Fighter Revealed

Well, after more than 5 months of on and off experimenting, ordering pieces, building, tearing apart, and re-building, I've reached a point where I am ready to declare my version of Lockheed's F-117A Nighthawk (aka stealth fighter) basically (...) Now if we could only sell the idea to Lego to include it in one of the sets they sell......." Don't we all wish we could sell ideas to (...)   Re: New MOC - "Dilur" Front-Line Assault Mecha

(...) Thanks for the kind response, Borislav! I wouldn't call the legs exactly flawless... They are quite weak, and there's something about them that I still don't like. ;-) (...) Thanks again! Good luck with your own mecha, Borislav. (...) Mladen (...) (23 years ago, 9-Sep-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New MOC - "Dilur" Front-Line Assault Mecha

Thanks Peter! I draw my inspiration from a variety of sources: Legs & Torso - Gundam Rail-Gun, Belt & Ammo Drum - Metal Gear Solid Missile Covers - Armoured Core 2 I occassionally watch anime, and read gaming magazines. You can glean inspiration (...) (23 years ago, 9-Sep-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New MOC - "Dilur" Front-Line Assault Mecha

(...) The Dilur is your best bi-pedal mech in my opinion. Excellent weapon systems, flawless legs and torso. Great work! Bobby (Neo-Oz) (23 years ago, 9-Sep-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New MOC - "Dilur" Front-Line Assault Mecha

Well, as to how you've dunnit again, I'm pretty clueless, but nonentheless, there are great ideas in this mech. Specifically, the concealed shoulder mounts are nice (concealed weapons are always cool) and rail guns are also always cool, but with the (...) (23 years ago, 9-Sep-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New MOC - "Dilur" Front-Line Assault Mecha

(...) Thanks Stuart! I apoligize for the red, I was taking pictures at 12:00 pm, so I had to rely on my bad lighting. I'm glad you like the hips and shoulders. The hip joints are very weird. I actually placed 5 small pick axes in the middle of the (...) (23 years ago, 9-Sep-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New MOC - "Dilur" Front-Line Assault Mecha

Ohh man! I like! Now, on my monitor, the red looks _very_ pink, which actually works for me. Not Belville pink, but dark rose. Love that shoulder mount, and the missile bays in the shoulders. My favourite part might actually be the hip structure. (...) (23 years ago, 9-Sep-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New MOC - "Dilur" Front-Line Assault Mecha

Thanks a lot Bryce! Ever since my "Archer" mecha I've been dying to use dark grey again on a new mecha. The red and grey came as a result of necessity, since a lot of my "cool" elements/pieces are in those two colours. ;-) Oh, and I'm glad you like (...)   Re: New MOC - "Dilur" Front-Line Assault Mecha

Astounding Mladen! Beautiful in every respect. The ammo belt is great. Easily one of you best mecha. I like the color scheme too; the grey and red work well together. Again, beautiful work! Later, Bryce (...) (23 years ago, 9-Sep-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New MOC - "Dilur" Front-Line Assault Mecha

Thanks Chris! The rail-gun was inspired by the rail-gun seen on Metal Gear REX in Metal Gear Solid (PSX & PC). I'm glad that you like it, but I still think the belt and drum looks slightly awkward. Oh well. ;-) (...) (23 years ago, 9-Sep-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Dinosaurs/Castle/Ninja crossover ideas

Yes, it resembles Dinotopia pretty much. (I have the book "Dinotopia", that is one of my sources of inspiration for this) The link martin gave me shows pretty much what I had in mind -though my minifigs would look more like the forestmen. --Tobias (...)
