Re: The Allied Terror, a good day for mecha...

(...) Are you kidding! It's horrid! It's just a blob of plastic sitting on a pair of wobbly legs! no form! no arms! stupid gun! nothing! (...) I'm expecting it, I hope I can get something built, but I can guarantee you it won't be anything (...) (23 years ago, 2-Sep-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: The Allied Terror, a good day for mecha...

(...) LOL! It's not (that) bad! :-) I like the back of the canopy with the extreme slopes facing each other. (...) Welcome to the biggy club. Few are brave enough to tackle the 24" tall mecha. You are indeed a brave warrior. Prepare for much (...) (23 years ago, 1-Sep-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re:Smiling Minifigs (was: Are we doing the right thing?)

(...) I too miss the lack of standard minifig heads, though the new ones are good for developing minifig characters in my own little universe they just don't seems as happy.   Re: Tim's first mecha

Geordan, I don't know what platofrm you're on, but Microsoft Paint (bundled with Windows, natch) has a reasonably good scale function. I usually use Photoshop, though... I did like the "bear" nonetheless. Very CCCP. The non-weapon arm didn't have (...) (23 years ago, 2-Sep-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Edison Class Explorer Ship

(...) Hey, did you by any chance ever play the computer game "Starcon II"? This looks just like the Precursor ship from the game, where modules would be attached to the "spine" of the ship as upgrades. Check it out: (URL) pretty neat! KDJ ___...___ (...)   Re: Monthly MOC: Blue Bugatti racer

Thank you for the heads up - I have fixed now. And I am less than pleased with the X-10 pop-up. You are quite right about the tapering end. This and the small size of Bugatti racers make it a tough job. Christian (...) to (...) degree (...) (23 years ago, 1-Sep-01, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.build)

Re: Monthly MOC: Blue Bugatti racer

Oops. Have you fixed the links to the images in the blueprint? It looks like they might be trying to access the steps for building the Schwimmwagen, but of course that is in a different folder. And I can't say I am pleased by the X10 pop-up, is that (...) (23 years ago, 1-Sep-01, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.build)
