(...) Well, here's something I just figured out... Take a x2 technic axle and put it in the center hole of 1 brick then put the other brick on... It's seamless and holds pretty tight on newer bricks. Older bricks seem to be giving me a bit of (...) (23 years ago, 27-Aug-01, to lugnet.build)

If you are willing to fudge a little on that point, you can take 2x2 round bricks or 2x2 bricks with pin and put them back to back with say a #3 technic axle thru the center axis.   Brick Attachment Method Question
 
Does anyone have a good scheme to attach two 2x2 bricks back-to-back (i.e. stud sides facing away from each other). I am looking for a way to have them seamlessly mated together. For instance if I use technic pins, there is a slight gap between the (...) (23 years ago, 26-Aug-01, to lugnet.build)

Colin, When Sproat was out here in California in April I got to copy two of his models. Very very intricate, very articulate, very beautiful.
