| Cool! Ever since the minifig sculpture set came out, I've been thinking about how to build a gigantic scale version of one of the standard LEGO elements. Those pics are exactly what I had in mind. Rather than make a modified version of 3723, this (...) (23 years ago, 2-Aug-01, to lugnet.build)

Yeah I thought of making the spitfire two tone of tan and green or something like that, but the results aren't very apealing, it is impossible to get smooth camo lines with lego, that's why I figured that I may do decals instead, I'm still (...) | I hope I'm not stealing any thunder... but in my usual nosing around in the BrickShelf recent gallery I ran across this (URL) nifty! I think what I like best is that the stuff appears to actually lock together at this large scale!!! (23 years ago, 2-Aug-01, to lugnet.build)
