Re: Heavy artillery mech: the MP 802

I forgot to put this in the previous post, is there a faster way to upload to brickshelf other than uploading each file one by one? It took me 1 and a half hours on a dsl connection to upload those photos!!!! thanks Geordan (...) (23 years ago, 18-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Heavy artillery mech: the MP 802

Hey all, this is my latest MOC. It's a heavily armed four legged mecha. I have two versions of the mecha. the first version is just plain with a fair amount less detail than version 2. It's name suits perfectly it's role in war. THis mech is (...) (23 years ago, 18-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Double arch suspension bridge

Thanks! It's a nice simple design, and I like the fact the trusses are only 2 studs wide. ROSCO (...) (23 years ago, 18-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: MOC: Superman

(...) Thanks Eric, and everyone else for your kind words! Superman is _hollow_. If not, I would most likely not be able to lift him. The plaque on the ground helps stability a little bit (but not much!). If I were to do it over again, I'd do as (...) (23 years ago, 18-Jun-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: GI Joe MOC's

(...) If you want to find this vehicle, head over to (URL) I first heard about this site on LUGNET and it's one of my new favorite sites. It has all the vehicles (and it's great fun to compare the posted Lego vehicles to pictures of the real ones!). (...) (23 years ago, 18-Jun-01, to lugnet.build)

Re: New Micro-Fig Mecha - "White Rabbit"

(...) Thanks for being so honest Greg! You've just described all the reasons why I like this mecha and why I built it this way. Maybe you're just not a big fan of anime/manga mecha. Thanks again! BTW "big jumble"??? Mladen Pejic, over and out! (URL) (23 years ago, 18-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Micro-Fig Mecha - "White Rabbit"

(...) I see is a big jumble of spindly white things. You probably meant for it to look all high tech with little gadgets sticking out all over, but it just seems cluttered to me. I am more a fan of streamlined models, but hey, if you like it that's (...) (23 years ago, 18-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Have you ever eaten in a tree house?

(...) Hey Shiri - if you make it back to this thread and see this response I just wanted you to know that I really like your structure. I don't think I commented on it at the time when you originally posted the pictures. You posted these at the time (...) (23 years ago, 18-Jun-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town)

Re: New Micro-Fig Mecha - "White Rabbit"

Looks really great. You do have an incredible knack for using pices that would not normally be used in an MOC such as this. Great job on that dritver of yours as well, I just finished a four legged Mecha vaguely similar in design to yours that I've (...) (23 years ago, 18-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

I thought it was interesting that the guy who created the GI Joe minifigs claims to have been talking to LEGO about actually having them produced. Bryan Beckwith "Ive Sorocuk" <ive@iprimus.com.au> wrote in message news:GF21L4.6oC@lugnet.com... (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jun-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Double arch suspension bridge

(...) Yeah, I was pretty pleased with it! Seeing I first designed it over 20 years ago, and hadn't actually built it before to check the design! But it really needs some beams under the tracks to stiffen the deck a bit - with a heavy train, the (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.trains, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Double Whammy from SigmaTek

the military approached us with an order for a fast, light, maneuverable, heavy-hitting artillery unit. our first impulse was to build a mounted gun, like the Diomedes, and put a very large engine in it. we soon realised that that would not fulfill (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jun-01, to lugnet.build)
