Re: Have you ever eaten in a tree house?

(...) this is cool. Is there any piece you cant find a way to use? You seem to be able to take the most useless looking SPUD elements and make them look good. (23 years ago, 15-Jun-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town)

Have you ever eaten in a tree house?

This is my tree house cafe. Its a restaurant situated in the top of a massive tree. (URL) uses some pretty tricky engineering techniques with an octagonal shape. Here is the city containing it: (URL) (23 years ago, 15-Jun-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town) !!

  Chateau Paradisa Expansion

I've added 3 additional floors to Chateau Paradisa. The style has also been transformed a bit to look somewhat more like an 18th century building in Amsterdam. (URL) I've made the building a bit more gaudy (if that's possible) with more bright red (...) (23 years ago, 15-Jun-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town)

Re: New MOC: 8 wide VW Beetle

(...) Being the proud owner of a '72 Beetle, I can say that's probably just about as close as one's gonna get with bricks. Now..if the body on mine were as clean as yours... ;) Some day. Joel J (23 years ago, 15-Jun-01, to lugnet.build)

Re: New MOC: 8 wide VW Beetle

(...) While I was living out in Seattle, a friend's mom told me that when she was a teenager, they packed 13 highschoolers into a Beetle. I look at my '72... and just can't see it... my '00 New Beetle, maybe..it has far more room (thank God). (...) (23 years ago, 15-Jun-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Takeing a break...

Well, I'll miss you presence here John! If taking a summer job means you getting more LEGO and building more stuff (i.e. such as your superb "Veriestsu"), than I wish all the best of luck to you! (...) (23 years ago, 14-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Takeing a break...

Lately I have found that, i have too many ideas.. ie, im takeing things apart makeing new models and than doing that over and over.   Re: New Quadruped Mecha

I actually completed 60%-70% of the Carrier before I madly destroyed it. To me, it had gotten way too big and cumbersome to deal with. I would have been sad if I had continued working on it. I have some pictures of it, I'll send them to you as well. (...) (23 years ago, 14-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
