Re: Mark's Lego Creations Update 04/14/01

(...) I think the vision block is one its better features. It kinda gives the mecha a "Destroidish" feel. However, not counting the missile racks, which totally rock, the mecha looks a little too bulky above the shoulders. It looks like the (...) (...) 45;-) (...) But is usually more impressive.... (...) Well, the chateau is agreeably too large, but this green one is one of my *biggest* buildings. I'm tired of minifig scale (you know, buildings with no rears, etc). Now that we (GMLTC) are (...) (24 years ago, 15-Apr-01, to lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch)

Re: New mecha @ Silicon Psyche: 2 steps foward, 1 step back

Happy Easter! A LEGO Cat Mosaic

Hey! Like I said, here is a LEGO mosaic of a cat just in time for Easter. (URL) not made like many mosaics with the bricks facing up on a baseplate-it stands like a wall. The whole thing is 36 studs across and 47 bricks high (not including the green (...) (24 years ago, 15-Apr-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general) !!

(...) Heh. Well, It's made of material strong enough to withstand common personnel weapons fire. Besides, any soldier dumb enough to try would meet a hail of depleted uranium shells. :^) ~1st Lieutenant, Fleebnork Division Muffin Head (24 years ago, 15-Apr-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

(...) A rugged military mecha with nice details, like the white fire control radome cylinder on the head. I'd delete the translucent vision block though, it's just begging for some smart foot soldier to shoot it out and be a big hero for a few (...)   Re: Quetzalcoatl the feathered Serpent

(...) Heck, he could be the pilot. Then he could land on Naboo and fix that Jar Jar infestation. :^) ~1st Lieutenant, Fleebnork Division Muffin Head (24 years ago, 15-Apr-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Quetzalcoatl the feathered Serpent

According to this link (URL) other possible names for this mecha god are Gukumatz, Nine Wind, and Kukulcan. None of these names should be uttered lest the speaker invoke his terrible wrath. It was this mecha god who destroyed all the ancient Indian (...) (24 years ago, 15-Apr-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) As always, spectacular! Also, I never noticed that you made seperate entries for your racers. Very nice stuff! Greg "Furniture made of wheat germ" Majewski (URL) (24 years ago, 15-Apr-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: Pic: New Green Building

(...) I scoped out the green/grey one. You've got some very nice effects there, I like the cornice. Is that just bricks turned 90 degrees? However it *is* a big building. Try some selective compression. Bigger isn't always better. I can see where (...) (24 years ago, 15-Apr-01, to lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch)
