  innaresting fact

for those of you who are innarested in design as well as lego i found out recently that Robert McCall (NASA, EPCOT) and Ralph McQuarrie (Star Wars, etc) and Syd Mead (2010, Aliens, etc) all came out of the same design school which explains why their (...)   Re: New Sculpture/Mosaic: Cleveland Indians Mascot

To be honest, I don't know. I used a bunch of bricks from my already-sorted collection. I did the math and figured out that if you use 1xn bricks doubled up (I used all 2xn bricks except for 1x2's) you could accomplish a similar sculpture using, I (...) (24 years ago, 4-Apr-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Pokemon Lego sculpture

No, Pikachu's stripes (as well as the base of his tail) are brown. I should know, as I had been researching pictures of Pikachu for the last couple of days to do my own version of the sculpture that I would've started this weekend, had I not seen (...) (24 years ago, 4-Apr-01, to lugnet.build)

(...) before gawking at the pics. :-, I'd love to get my hands on the MPD for this -- there's lots of grooviness happening in the torso and back area that looks way cool.   Re: Classic Space style Space Shuttle MOC

(...) Is this where I plead the fifth amendment? No, seriously, though, I keep trying to do silly stuff like build lockers using car doors. I just never think of "open downward" as opposed to "open sideways". -JDF (24 years ago, 4-Apr-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

  Re: Pokemon Lego sculpture

Not too badly done. But they seem to have come out quite blocky. I had no idea Bulbasur's body was that square. :-) Also, he should have a little red spot on the top of his flower. I'm also quite sure Pikachu's stripes on his back are the same color (...) (24 years ago, 4-Apr-01, to lugnet.build)

Re: huge japanese page of small mecha

It appears our japanese genius is still active. I just checked back at his page and he has 3 links at the top, one for his top page, one for a bbs (common on japanese websites) and a "lego-top-test" (here (URL) )which contains an index of links, (...)
