Hey thanks, I do need a good digital camera to better document this robot , if you check out "Armature" folder on brick shelf and click "UP" thru the other folders there are some more pixs of the Robot, alas - there are not too many avail right now, (...) (24 years ago, 7-Mar-01, to lugnet.build)

Hey , Thanks , it's always good to here kind words after working for so long to complete the Robot. The Mantis has 6 motors total, 1 for the head , 1 for the neck and two each for the two sets of wigngs assisted by pnuematics!! Legs are mechanical (...) (24 years ago, 7-Mar-01, to lugnet.build)

Cool! Looks sweet! How did you do the thrusters in the back? Minifig wrenches? It sure is large- 900k! Thank god for broadband! You could probally shrink the file size by croping it to just the mecha, and getting rid of the white (...) (24 years ago, 7-Mar-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

Hey All, I've uploaded a .gif of my new mini-mecha to brickshelf. LMKWYT! (URL) Thanks to Sproaticus for the inspiration. One of his stickfig-scale mecha has these really cool feet, and they look like they belong on a big, scary animal. That and my (...) (24 years ago, 7-Mar-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)
