  Re: Bart Simpson, LEGO sculpture

We can have a DixieLUG meet here at my place anytime. I may be travelling a bit in Feb., but nothing is definite yet. eric (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jan-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Bart Simpson, LEGO sculpture

Eric, Great work as always. I did want to point out that my son has a Bart toy and the spikes on the head cover the entire head and not just the outside of his head. Of course it's hard to tell this from a 2D picture. When we coming down for the (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jan-01, to lugnet.build)

Re: Model Team scale Lamborghini Diablo 6.0

Well, you already know what we're going to say so LMKWYT is someone moot, no? As I've told you before(and 'Muffin Head' Mark S., Brian Cooper, Jay Cal, etc... it's daunting how many great models are coming from just a handful a people), you rock (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jan-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Bart Simpson, LEGO sculpture

(...) Hard to find the superlatives to describe your model, since we all know there will be certainly a bigger, more impressing sculpture in a short while again. I'm speachless about your productivity! Leg Godt! Ben (24 years ago, 9-Jan-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: new models

Beautiful models John! I espicially like the Giquane, it looks very utilitarian and bulky, plus the design looks very original. I would love to build red mecha (in real life), but I'm afraid I don't have enough red pieces, that said, you Akai Katana (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jan-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Anago Battle Armor

(...) Ooh. I stand corrected. That's an awesome little suit. Great job! wondering how I could have missed that, -jeremiah- (24 years ago, 9-Jan-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: Anago Battle Armor

Ummmm... I built an even smaller suit about a year ago. It's exactly the size of a mini-fig (maybe a millimetre taller). Hardsuit: (URL) also built 2 other hardsuits, a while ago. XRQ Experimental Hard-Suit: (URL) Police Hard-Suit: (URL) nice model. (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jan-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  new models

I've just finished uploading two new models to my page; the new version of Giquane (I removed the old one...) and Akai Katana, my first mech with a skeleton(Sp?) I already made a new mech with the same frame, Its name will probably be Aoi Katana if (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jan-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Anago Battle Armor

(...) Yeah, the small size was what got me going on the the suit. I've been trying for years to make truly 'personal' armor, but to no avail. I had an idea a couple of days ago to make the smallest possible box a minifig would fit in and go from (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jan-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: Bart Simpson, LEGO sculpture

(...) Once again quite an excellent performance by Mr. Harshberger. An outstanding job, even if the subject is more, er, prosaic than the Mona Lisa. Two questions I have is one: was this done for a commission or for personal enjoyment; and two:how (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jan-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Bart Simpson, LEGO sculpture

Cowabunga, dude! Inspiring as ever, Eric. One design solution which interested me: why did you decide to "step" the skateboard instead of making it straight and hinging it in? Thanks for posting! -John (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jan-01, to lugnet.build)

  Bart Simpson, LEGO sculpture

  RE: wow, lights

(...) Most of my lights are from Classic Space Light&Sound sets. However, I believe there are some recent sets that have lights. <set:6979> has one double light (I used a double light for each headlight), along with a micromotor and fiberoptics. (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jan-01, to lugnet.build)
