I guess my main problem when finding a suitable bow, will be the decision to
seperate another boat from its bow. As I don't have the 311 ferry, if I won
it, I'd have to keep it intact! (what a dilemma)
Actually the red tug is the only boat we have. If I could find another tug,
then that'd be ok, cause then I'd just have spare parts. Which would be good,
as the plastic is rather thin. Glueing isnt an option, cause the piece is
missing, and indeed, my partner tells me that there was a small chip off it
prior to my our son getting to it, that my partner did when he was a child -
so two generations of damage.
This is the only piece of our vintage Lego, that has sustained any damage at
all, so I'm curious to know what others think of the fragility of this piece,
unusually thin, or just brittle with age? Are the other boats as thin, as the
tug?
