It looks like the "creator" sets have replaced the
BASIC/Freestyle/Classic line.
What are your opinions on the new figures, Tina & Max (that's what
they're called in Sweden)?
I think that the selection of pieces in the sets looks nice (big bamboo
clip on leaves! Yee-haa!) but the figs look awful.
(If anyone should use the same clothes/hairstyle as Tina & Max, I'm
sorry for what I am about to say.)
Look at his hair! I don't know how you feel about that hairstyle on
young children, but I don't like it. As for his clothing, and the look
in his face. He looks like one of those guys who used to pick on me in school.
Tina's hairstyle is better, but I still don't like her clothes. And
what's the point of making these cross-overs between technic-figs and
minifigs anyway? Why couldn't they have introduced some nice new
minifigs instead?

| (...) Come on, the new "minifigs" are probably a means to market the sets to younger children. I think this trend is great. In the recent years we've had the "juniorized" sets with focus on playing and less focus on building. This year sees the (...) (24 years ago, 14-Jan-01, to lugnet.basic)
