Everybody:
I'd like to apologize for the system disruptions that occurred this past
weekend. MOCpages was down for an hour on Friday and for most of
the day Saturday.
About the disruptions
The company that owns the computers that MOCpages resides on was
having problems all weekend, and this caused full outages and
intermittant problems. I was very unhappy with their attitudes about
the situation (which were to the tune of "Hey, it happens"). I will be
moving MOCpages to a more reliable and flexible company so that
this does not happen again.
Future service
Moving MOCpages to new computers will mean that there will be
another outage at some point during the next month as I transition
everyone's web sites, but I will try to keep them to a minimum and to
do things at off-peak hours.
About MOCpages
MOCpages, (http://www.mocpages.com) was activated on March 18,
2003, and offers free web hosting for LEGO creations. It currently
hosts 230 LEGO-related web sites to 1000 visitors every day.
