Hello all,

Our son Hillel was born on Dec. 30, 2007. In the couple of weeks before his birth, I seized on the notion of building a tiny house out of Lego. Maybe the AFOL version of a nesting instinct?

After moderation, you can see more pictures here:

Features:

1. Plenty of SNOT so the vertical and horizontal half timbers are the same thickness (one plate). This was harder than it had to be because I didn’t want to delay by ordering parts, and I had limited supplies on hand (e.g. only two yellow 1x1 Technic bricks).

2. Roof attached to a Technic 3-4-5 triangle framework

3. I like powers of two, so the house number is 32. As it turned out, Hillel was born at 11:32 pm....

A beautiful small house! Has a great 'cuteness' quality to it which is so hard to achieve... Congrats on the building and more importantly your child! God Bless, Nathan (17 years ago, 24-Jan-08, to lugnet.build.arch, FTX)
