This was my entry to the “Mini Castle Contest III” on C-C:
Backstory: This once-barren island was discovered by a group of sea-faring
monks, who liked the remote location, and labored hard to construct a new
monastery there. However, they soon realized the need for a lighthouse in the
area, and incorporated a large tower to shine a light for other travelers - to
show them the way.
Sailors without hope can find refuge in this medieval lighthouse. The fires
burn brightly, and warm men’s souls.
