With the alliance of the Naboo and the Gungans, the two cultures were able to repel the Trade Federation invasion, and bring peace back to the serene world. One of the Jedi knights sent to assist the Queen in the battle died and his body was cremated at a funeral attended by numerous mourners from Naboo, Gungans and several Jedi Council members.
