  Steamship Möwe
 
Hello, after reestablishing my posting privileges, I'd like to show my latest creation (part of a longer harbour project), a steamship in a style of the first decades of the 20th century: The freighter 'Möwe' (seagull) (URL) It does not have a real (...) (18 years ago, 5-Mar-07, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.town, FTX) !!

Andreas: You sure know your ships! I like the attention to detail such as the navigation lights, anchor winch, ventilation shafts, draft lines on the side of the hull, etc. As you may be aware, a ship of this name was one of the more successful of (...) A great concept, beautifully executed. With regards to the planks, everything in LEGO has a degree of cartoonification, so if it gives the right impression without being too distorted, it's valid in my book. Al (who has also just got posting (...) (18 years ago, 5-Mar-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)
