I have come up with what I call the "Schifeling All Purpose Structure" They
give the appearance of a mid-sized downtown that began to thrive in the
teens and early 20's. With minor alterations to doors, windows and cornice
can become commercial or residential (or combination of the 2) for upper and
lower class parts of town. I am very pleased with the out come with very
little use of specialized pieces. The building process would be much easier
if Lego would sell bulk 1 x 3 or 2 x 3. Anyhoo...I just kinda stumbled on to
this style of building because I was running out of room in my storage
drawers for yellow, red and blue. I wanted to knock out some room real quick
and this is what I came up with. I'm going to bust out a few more tonight
after I swap out so windows in my display. The town I live in is trying to
go back to this type structure for its downtown redevelopment.
