Hello!

I have completed another street for my layout this weekend:

<http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=181514>

The street name came from a street in the Bronx that was affected considerably
during the 1970's and 80's.  This creation only uses the name, though. It does
not represent the buildings on the actual street.  The cool thing about the
actual Faile Street is that the buildings (mostly 3 floor apartment buildings,
all similar), though they burned, they were not demolished.  Instead, they were
gutted and rebuilt within the existing shell.

I am pretty pleased with the way this street came out.  I wanted a desolate feel
to it, complete with empty lots, etc.  I would like to add some vehicles to the
auto repair building and will do so sometime in the future.  The tan building
was built recently while the sand blue one and the dark orange one have been
around for a couple of years.

Thoughts, comments, suggestions always appreciated.

Thanks for looking!

Jonathan

(...) Excellent work! I especially like the various styles of your buildings, and it's great to see that the Fire Dept. still responds to calls in this district. If anything, maybe more tires are needed in the vacant lot. Where is the (URL) Urban (...) (18 years ago, 3-May-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)
