Mocpage has the usual building discussion. Check it out if you’re up for a little bit of reading.

This moc is my interpretation of this 3D art entry in the Grand Space Opera CGChallenge from several months back. It was produced by Fred Bastide of Switzerland. You can see a ton of inspiring ships from the contest throughout the Concept Art Gallery.

Hope you all like. Personally, I think this is one of my best mocs, and a challenge I’m glad I attempted.

Peace,

--Ry

(...) Beautiful work, Ryan. There's so much to love here... shaping, coloration, greebles... oh, the greebles! Fantastic! And you even have a cute little pilot. I also particularly like the rear entry. That's a great alternative to hinging that (...) (19 years ago, 9-Sep-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) You know whereof you speak. I'm glad you attempted and succeeded with this one. The concept comes across very clearly in the final product. Plus, you shame us all in your thoroughness in showing us your building process. Keep setting a fine (...) (19 years ago, 11-Sep-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)
