| | I’ve always been a big fan of this time of year. But my favorite holiday is New Year; the revelry and debauchery always had more of a draw for me than warm family fun.

Night Owl was inspired by the artwork of Shag and
Todd White. I’m a sucker for that
night-life hipster scene. Originally, this guy was to have a female companion
who would have been very elegant smoking a long stem cigarette. But I found the
assemetry and the empty space emphasized a certain ackwardness-- like this guy
makes a regular habit of getting turned down. So, (raises his glass) here’s
to good fun, good people, and getting turned down on a regular basis.
