Announcing the launch of my first capital ship, humbly submitted for your
perusal: the Starship Intrepid!
14 crewmen, 7 droids, three decks, two shuttles, two escape pods, roughly 2
1/2 feet long with saucer sep capability and multiple warp cores. Lots other
stuff too!
The 19 pics are really big (and a kinda fuzzy; i took 'em with my manual
Nikon camera) so be patient if you have a slow connection.

Let me know what you think!
-Chris (aka Babelfish)
PS: Ironically, as soon as finished shooting it and filming a virtual tour
with the help of girlfriend Jill, the ship met an ignoble end all over the
kitchen floor due to improper docking of the two main sections. Alas, she
lives on in photographs!
PPS: Thanks to Dan Jassim, Jon Palmer, Kyle Keppler, Mark Sandlin andseveral
others whose designs provided inspiration for several elements of this ship.

| Great model! Everything looks great. Looks pretty functional too. I really like the Star Trek style warp core. -Nick (...) (23 years ago, 8-May-02, to lugnet.space)

| I must have missed this the first time around. Pretty huge ship! Good use of trans pieces too and the interior layout is pretty cool. Good job! Dan (22 years ago, 28-May-02, to lugnet.space)
